1 John
In this verse by verse exposition of the book of 1 John we will learn together how to Know, Love, and Obey God better. John wrote this letter to several churches that were being visited by former members of his own church that rejected the full humanity of Christ and his substitutionary atonement. He wrote to encourage them to keep on the right track and to increase their faith and practice in the things which they already knew but had begun to doubt or question. He wrote to see their fellowship preserved, their walk of obedience prioritized, and their faithfulness to their confession and worship of Christ promoted.

Book of Mark
In this verse by verse exposition we will hear the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as recounted by Mark a disciple who learned theology from the Apostle Paul and heard the eyewitness accounts of the Apostle Peter. But Mark shows that Jesus accomplishes this as a suffering servant and encourages disciples to endure suffering and offer service in imitation of Jesus our God and King.

Without these the churches will struggle to make disciples who are growing and multiplying but with these a church will be the healthy body which God intended it to be.
