Our Joy:

Live a Life of Generosity

At our church, we believe life is a long-term mission trip, and every day is a short-term mission opportunity. God's word makes it clear that it's our job to share the love of Christ with people we see every day, whether we're in our local community, or halfway across the world. And this mission not only impacts those we serve, but it is a pathway to spiritual transformation in our own lives.

There are many ways to serve locally at Little River, as well as getting involved in global efforts to spread the Gospel of Christ. Whether you feel called to Belfast or another continent, we want to empower you to do the work God has called you to. Get involved today!

Serving Locally at Little River

As a community we value and encourage everyone to discover the joy and the reward of helping others through service. We’d love to invite you to join us as we seek to extend a loving hand to everyone in and around our neighborhood. Here are some ways to serve locally:

Food Pantry

We host a food pantry for the community on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6:00-7:30 PM. We love to have volunteers helping stock tables, carry boxes to cars, and offering hospitality to those we serve.

Community Needs/Events

We look for opportunities to support our community by volunteering for events put on by the Chamber of Commerce, the YMCA, Our Town Belfast, etc.

Your God Given Passion

The church is given the responsibility to equip and encourage you to serve others in the name and love of Jesus. Many of those services will not be official programs of the church. We want to help you identify where the needs God is exposing to you, the spiritual gifts God supplied you and the passion's he's growing in you. We will train you to share God's love where need, gifting and passion intersect.

Serve around the World

Our church recognizes that individuals in God’s church have differing gifts and callings. In addition to church-planting roles and gifts such as teaching, worship, discipleship and administration, we also want to encourage a vocation-based approach to serving. A vocation-based ministry is one that uses your particular training and skills in realms of service such as education, health, agriculture, or engineering to name some examples. You can use your education and experience as a platform for the gospel in other countries just as you can here.

Through cooperation with thousand of other churches, we send thousands of missionaries and church planters around the world and throughout North America. You can give to support these efforts but you can also join short term mission teams working with these missionaries. Please contact our mission ministry team for more information.
